Kaya's 8th Birthday!!

The night before Kaya's birthday we had her friend/cousin party. She decided she wanted to have a spa party. So my sister-in-law Megan came and helped me. The girls soaked their feet in foot spas and then we scrubbed them and gave them pedicures. They all loved it. While two were having that done the others decorated flip flops. They did such a good job.

Then they enjoyed pizza and cake and ice cream. It was a lot of fun for them. We sent all the boys away so it was just the girls.

On Saturday, Kaya's actual birthday we let her choose what she wanted to do as a family. She decided she wanted to go bowling so that's what we did. The kids love bowling and are actually getting pretty good. Then she chose to go to Tepanyaki for dinner. That was a ton of fun for the kids plus the food is great. I think she had a pretty great birthday.

Ice Castles

We went up to Midway with our good friends Ryan and Shauna and their little girl Ella and saw these ice castles that a guy up there makes. It is amazing!!

We went up there at night and they look so cool because he built them with lights in them and they glow. He took all winter working on them.

The kids absolutely loved them!!

While we were there a huge snow storm moved in though and just covered all of the roads. It was such a horrible ride home. We couldn't drive faster than like 15 mph until we got out of the canyon. It was pretty scary. Thank heavens the kids slept through it because I was a nervous wreck.

Tanner Turns 6!!

Wow!! Tanner celebrated his 6th Birthday! His birthday fell on Monday so we gave him his presents from us and I took cupcakes into his Kindergarten class. Later that day we blindfolded him and took him to Walmart to pick out a new bike. We took video but unfortunately didn't take any pictures of him with his new bike. It was a fun day and that night he chose to go with his dad to bowling and be with all the men.

The Saturday after his birthday we had his friend party. He decided he wanted a Mario party so we had a Mario Kart competition on the Wii. There was 20 kids so it was a crazy madhouse but a lot of fun.
